Baked granola bars for a pick-me-up snack

Ingredients

  • Your chosen Grande Granola mix
  • Chopped nuts for added chunk
  • Chia seeds for a superboost
  • Dried coconut flakes for a crisp texture
  • Pure vanilla extract to sweeten
  • Sea salt to balance
  • Maple syrup to bind everything together
  • Baking pan
  • Parchment paper

Here’s how

  • Preheat your oven to 160°C
  • While your oven heats up, mix your dry ingredients together in a bowl
  • In another bowl, stir your maple syrup and vanilla extract together to coat your dry ingredients
    • Note: The level of sweetness is completely up to your preference. We suggest that you add them in moderation – not too much, but just enough to bind the ingredients together
  • Then, combine your dry and liquid ingredients together and stir them well to ensure it is evenly coated. This is important to keep them from crumbling apart.
  • Once done, line your baking pan with parchment paper and pour your ingredients into the pan as flat and evenly as possible
  • Then, bake for 30-35 minutes or as needed for the maple syrup to caramelize
  • Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour or in the fridge for 30-45 minutes
  • Use a sharp knife to slice them into even bars

The best part is, you can store them in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for 2 months! If you decide to do the latter, you can set aside 15-20 minutes for them to thaw at room temperature before eating.
